[A6] Does the A6 store globals on power down?

Is the A6 supposed to store your global parameter settings after you
turn the instrument off?  When I turn off one of the voices in the voice
monitor (VOXMON), that voice is turned back on again when I power the
instrument back up.  
 
Has anyone had this same experience, or is this another problem with my
A6?
