Geoff, thanks for the info, very helpful.
And for the benefit of the rest of the group (both AH and A6), I wanted
to publish this information:
The new parts manager for Numark/Alesis is Paul Lucia: (401) 658 3131
Dan Felix is no longer there.
The A6 voice board replacement cost is $518 + shipping + tax
There are two individual ASIC's per voice, $21 each should I decide to
try surface mounting (probably not a good idea without professional
help).
The part numbers for the ASIC's are: 2-27-0058 and 2-27-0059
Hope that saves someone some time in the future should they need to
repair their A6.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Scott - I was reading the thread on your bad A6 voice board and
thought this might help. If you need to order a new voice board, this
is the guy at Alesis who should be able to help you. I don't know how
things are there now, but months back when I needed a part it took me a
long time just to find the correct person to deal with. Anyway, once I
got ahold of the right person, the part was ordered and delivered in no
time. Give Dan Felix a call at (401) 295-9000 - he's the parts manager
at Numark/Alesis and was very helpful. Good luck.
