[A6] Ordered A6, patch sets and data card

Hi all,

I ordered the A6 today. :))

What's the latest news considering the data cards? Can I use 
a PCMCIA adapter and use a compact flash or smartmedia 
card? Or do I have to order a specific card from some 
specific dealer?

Did anyone of you try the downloadable patch sets? Are they 
better than the presets? What I mean, are they good enough 
to store on a large enough card?
