At the risk of becoming OT: yes, it would be very interesting to see if and how these issues would work itself out. I guess Metrowerks (Motorola's compiler company) sells an environment that could be used. A lot would depend on how much effort Alesis would be prepared to put into making the process accessible, cleaning up code and makefiles and such.

Just hypothesizing, of course ;)
