There are a thousand viable explanations; I consider it a waste of our time,
and the list's information base, to speculate about them (not a criticism of
anyone, just a statement of position).

I am sure what is possible, and do-able, will be considered and done, if
viable.  Beyond that no-one can really say, even from inside Alesis.

So. any creative ideas on how to use the tracking generator routed through
the sample-and-hold function to step-modulate the sequencer, or the other
way around? <g>  Or is that already a hard-wired routing?

I think Alesis is busy getting the Ion VA synth out the door. Why they
haven't spun off more analog products with all the R&D put into the ASICs I
have no idea. Seems like a rackmount and an 8-voice are no-brainers. But
what do I know.
