i've done some experiments regarding the "lost notes" problem in 
Mix mode and am beginning to wonder if it is being caused by a 
bug in the voice allocation software. 

Try this setup:

1. trigger a constant arpeggio on Mix Channel 1 by Midi
2. select a Unison patch on Mix Channel 2
3. Bingo! the arpeggio immediately stops running 
4. switch off Unison mode and the arpeggio starts again.

mind you: the number of voices allocated to the 2nd patch does not 
really make a difference, even if it uses just two voices and 
although there are loads more available, it halts the arpeggio.

does this happen on all your Andy's as well?
